Staying healthy is one key thing we should not joke with as a person. Our health is as important as our wealth.
Healthy living means different things to different people, but there are some simple habits that can help you live a more balanced and energized life every single day.
“You need to be healthy to be wealthy”. I’m sure you are catching my drift on this.
There are simple steps and ritual you do daily that will keep you healthy.
I wished I had learnt this early in life, then I wouldn’t have spent so much in and out of hospitals.
You can live a healthier and happier life with these simple guides and all of these tips are totally doable:
Recent research has shown that our body is composed of about 60% water and helps it to produce fluids that helps aid digestion, circulation, creation of saliva, absorption, transports nutrients and also maintain body temperature.
This basically tells you that water is a substance that keeps us hydrated. Keeping hydrated is crucial for health and well being but many people do not consume enough fluids.
The 8 * 8 rule says that we drink 8 glasses of 8- ounce glasses per day of fluids and this equals to 2 liters or half a gallon.
Although is not scientifically proven as our body needs varies. Just drink as much as you can to stay hydrated all day.
2). GO GREEN (SMOOTHIE):
Taking Green smoothie for breakfast every day can help improve your overall wellbeing.
A green smoothie is made from fresh vegetables and green fruits such as Kiwi, Banana, Avocado, spinach, Kale, Broccoli and much more.
Our green smoothie helps to promote weight loss, improve hydration, improve digestion, rejuvenates your body. It also protects your cells against free radical damage and it improves your skin colour making it brighter and clearer.
Let’s “GO GREEN” and keep enjoying your healthy lifestyle.
3). EXERCISE DAILY :
Let’s sweat it out, guys!!! Daily exercises rev up your energy level and even help improve your mood.
Exercising regularly decreases a person’s risk of developing certain diseases and that includes obesity and high blood pressure.
Regular exercise also improves your look, it helps you look more toned and burns calories that make you add up.
Consider doing exercise regularly, if you have to hit the Gym then do it, if you can’t afford a Gym join a support group that will enable you do exercise freely and you will feel motivated and jived up.
4). CATHCHING ENOUGH SLEEP :
Most times, we get so carried away with work that we forget to sleep. Your sleep time is as important as you work. You need to sleep well so you don’t get cranky the next day.
Sleep is an active period in which a lot of important processing, restoration, and strengthening occurs. Researchers have also shown that people who sleep, tend to retain information and perform better on memory tasks.
Our bodies also require a longer period of sleep in order to restore and rejuvenate, to grow muscle, repair tissue, and synthesize hormones.
I was actually a victim of this until a doctor advised that I start to sleep early. That basically changed everything for me. I wake up energized and fired up for the next day.
5). EAT HEALTHY :
Eat healthily, feel healthy, Eat bad, feel bad.
Making good food choices is important for everyone. Sadly, we eat junks and refuse to eat a highly nutritious meal. Overcooking and frying food with a large amount of fatty oil are actually the most favourable.
I agree with you on that, sometimes the not so nutritious food is easier to get and less expensive but getting a healthy meal can be achieved too.
All you have to do is cut down on saturated fat and sugar, eat less salt, eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
6). SHOW GRATITUDE AND STAY POSITIVE :
Our health works with the mind. Everything we do starts from our mind, so if you are not positive it will affect the way you think and thereby affect your health in return.
Showing gratitude and being thankful helps you feel happier from the inside out. The way you feel makes you glow more.
Having a healthy lifestyle can be a smattering. But it’s the best way to live life. Making healthy living a lifestyle, keeps you glowing, younger and happier. Make it a habit
